About me

Masters student at TU München (Germany) in Biomedical computing, I am interested in medical technology, but I like programming in general, mostly related to image processing applications using Python, Matlab, and C++.
I use this website to show some of the things I like doing and projects where I have participated, feel free to use anything that you find useful, any kind of feedback is also kindly appreciated.
I am originally from the most beautiful land in the world, Colombia!, there I studied Biomedical Engineering at EIA University. I like drawing and learning languages :-).

Projects where I have been involved

Enhancement of high spatial resolution AngioCT images using bilateral multiband filtering (2016)

My bachelor's degree final project

I made this project to get my Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering for the Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia in Colombia (EIA University now). In this project, I used a filter called bilateral multiband to enhance high-resolution CT angiographic scans, quantitative and qualitative analysis of filtering were performed.
Additionally it was implemented a 3D visualization algorithm (VTK) integrated on UI (Matlab).

Development of automatization system for a greenhouse of coffee (2017)

Work as independat contractor

This is a project from de los Andes Coperativa in Colombia which consists in building an automatic greenhouse of coffee, this is a social project to educate the community around the rural areas about the culture of coffee, we try to show them how with not very advanced technology we can also create a huge impact on crop efficiency.
Our responsibilities were the development of the control system for humidity and temperature of substratum. Additionally, the system is able to monitor meteorological conditions, save and send SMS reports and alerts.
